Job description

As Mechanical Technician, you'll be a member of Indaver's Meath Team and responsible for carrying out the mechanical activities at the Meath WTE Plant. 

  • Troubleshooting of technical breakdowns, work preparation, material reservation and execution of repair activities.
  • These activities can be in the field either in the workshop.
  • Identification of required safety measures for maintenance activities
  • Respects the prevailing safety regulations and corrects others if necessary.
  • Pays attention to cleanliness, order, and housekeeping.
  • The preparation, update and execution of preventive and periodic maintenance programs.
  • The review of available spare parts and the creation of new warehouse articles
  • The use of the SAP PM system as support and follow-up tool for the maintenance activities.
  • The preparation and execution of small sized improvement and project activities.

 

 

Job requirements

  • Experience as maintenance technician in the process industry (metallurgy, basic materials, power plant, petrochemicals, cement industry)
  • Completed mechanical trade qualification
  • Planning and scheduling qualifications will also be highly regarded
  • Knowledge and experience with the SAP PM and MM system
  • Knowledge and experience of MS Excel
